1 · Sourcing

Every knowledge article begins from primary vendor sources: official documentation (help.autodesk.com, ptc.com/en/support, plm.sw.siemens.com, 3ds.com/support, gstarcad.net), release notes, vendor blogs and recorded sessions (Autodesk University, SOLIDWORKS World, COFES, Hannover Messe presentations), and licensed reference works.

We do not republish vendor documentation. We link to it. The text on Gstarcademy is original editorial commentary written specifically for this site.

2 · Drafting (AI-assisted)

We use large language models as research and drafting accelerators. The LLM never ships content to readers unmodified. A human editor:

  • Verifies each factual claim against current vendor documentation.
  • Rewrites prose for clarity, voice consistency, and CAD-specific accuracy.
  • Adds context that the source documentation lacks (e.g., common pitfalls, decision criteria).
  • Removes hallucinated or stale information.

3 · Technical review

Each article receives a technical review by Gstarsoft Co., Ltd — a CAD software developer and the maker of GstarCAD — verifying technical claims against current vendor documentation before publication. Review is organized into domain tracks:

4 · Publication & revision

Every published article carries a Last reviewed date, a publication date, and a technical-review byline crediting Gstarsoft Co., Ltd. Vendor release cycles trigger periodic re-reviews: we maintain a calendar of vendor major releases (annual for most platforms) and refresh affected articles within four weeks of release.

Reader feedback (technical inaccuracies, broken links, outdated information) is welcomed via contact. We aim to acknowledge within 5 business days.

Source attribution

Each article links externally to the primary vendor documentation, release notes, and authoritative third-party references it draws on. We never embed vendor logos, product screenshots, or material covered by copyright restrictions without explicit license. Our writing about a vendor product is original commentary; the vendor remains the authoritative source for product specifications.
