Neutral navigation—not another closed course wall.

Gstarcademy is an independent knowledge platform for CAD, BIM, and engineering software professionals. We organize public learning resources, maintain vendor-neutral technical reference articles, and curate industry news—so practitioners can find what they need without wading through marketing or paywalls.

What we publish

Knowledge Base: In-depth concept articles covering 50+ CAD/BIM platforms, written for working professionals. Each article includes technical deep-dives, troubleshooting procedures, cross-discipline workflow guidance, and practical tips drawn from real project experience.

Tutorial Navigation: Curated, categorized links to external courses on YouTube, vendor learning portals, MOOCs, and community channels—organized by software, skill level, and task type.

Industry News: Weekly roundups of product releases, version updates, acquisition news, and standards changes across the CAD/BIM industry, linking to primary sources.

What we do not do

We do not host, download, transcode, or mirror third-party videos or full tutorials. Visitors always follow outbound links to view content at the source platform. We are a navigation and reference layer, not a content aggregator or scraper.

We do not accept paid placements in our knowledge base or tutorial rankings. Software coverage decisions are based on market presence and user demand, not vendor relationships.

Our Team

Editorial Team

Our knowledge base content is maintained by a team with combined experience spanning AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, CATIA, Civil 3D, GstarCAD, and other major platforms. Team members have backgrounds in architectural design, structural engineering, mechanical product development, and BIM coordination across commercial and institutional projects.

Technical articles are drafted by subject-matter contributors familiar with the specific software platform and engineering domain, then reviewed by at least one additional team member with production experience in that domain before publication.

Technical Review Process

Every knowledge base article undergoes a structured review cycle:

  1. Research: Primary sources include vendor documentation, official help portals, release notes, and published technical standards (ISO, ASME, IFC).
  2. Drafting: Initial drafts are written with reference to these sources, incorporating practical workflow observations from project experience.
  3. AI-assisted expansion: We use AI tools to help scale content production, particularly for technical descriptions and cross-platform comparisons. All AI-generated content is edited for accuracy.
  4. Technical review: A domain-qualified reviewer verifies claims, checks terminology, and confirms that procedures reflect current software versions.
  5. Publication & maintenance: Published articles carry authorship, review date, and last-updated timestamps. Articles are re-reviewed when major software version updates are released.

Editorial Standards & AI Disclosure

AI Transparency: We use AI tools as part of our content creation workflow. AI assists with initial content drafting, cross-platform comparison research, and consistency checking across our knowledge base. All AI-generated content is reviewed, fact-checked, and edited by human reviewers with domain expertise before publication. We believe in transparency about this process rather than obscuring it.

Source Verification: Technical claims in our knowledge base articles are verified against primary vendor documentation. Source links at the bottom of each article point to the official documentation or learning portals we referenced. We do not fabricate citations or attribute content to sources we did not consult.

Corrections Policy: If you find a technical error in any article, please contact us. We commit to reviewing reported errors within 72 hours and publishing corrections with a visible update notice on the affected page.

Vendor names and trademarks belong to their respective owners. We do not host vendor copyrighted material. See Copyright & disclaimer for our takedown policy and 48-hour response SLA.
